The first and the foremost core activity of this platform is TECHNOLOGIES. We explore and enable technologies and co-create them according to our needs through our collaborations and strategic alliances. The main focus of our technologies are such that it can be easily Adaptable, Accessible and Affordable for the farmers as our idea is to create decentralised processing unit at the farm gate itself through collectivisation of farmers.
The second core activity of this platform is the PRODUCTS made out of Agri produce, which is produced at the farm gate processing unit but marketed under the single brand through out the nation which is a unique feature of our platform i.e hyperlocal production unit to fulfil the hyperlocal demand. There is a strong R&D team working on developing our products.
The team has come up with unique sugarcane value added products so far such as:
- Sugarcane Ice Cubes
- Ganna Chuski
- Sugarcane Juice Blocks/ Bars
- Ganna Imli Chutney
This platform will be taking care of all the packaging, labelling, branding, and marketing of the products.
The third core activity focuses on the BUSINESS MODELS. We are designing and building business models for FIGs, FPCs and farmers which help them in becoming a successful farmerpreneurs. For example, one of our FIG Ganna Madhuram has opened a tea outlet at Sangammer where they served world's first tea made out of sugarcane juice. We also have a production unit at Daund which is run by MAHACANE CELEBRATING FIG where Ganna chuski, Ganna chutney, Ganna ice-cream and sugarcane ice cubes are made, and the third business model which is evolving is the cloud kitchen in which many farmers are interested. Thus we are exploring building and enabling multiple business models every day by collaborating and associating with different industries association, industries welfare centres like madhumati clubs.
CREATING FARMERS COLLECTIVES
The fourth core activity focuses on Creating Farmers Collectives at the regional and hyper-local levels so that FIGs turn into state as well as national FPCs. (Farmers Producer Company). This will not only empowers the farmers by coming together in creating value added products but also enables them to maintain a well balanced work structure as well as the finances. So all in one, there are five core activities that are being taken up through Celebrating Farmers platform. The aim is to touch the lives of millions of farmers not only in India but also all across the world by enabling the farmers to become more economically sound in paving their paths in becoming successful farmerpreneurs and through this platform we want to take up the opportunity to promote and encourage farmers to take up the natural farming practice and its impact in our eco system as a whole.
The fifth core activity is Connecting The Startups with our farmerprenuers, FIGs and farmers collectives so that at the backend we are aligning the reverse engineering or the backward linkages for our startups and at the sametime we are also enabling technical know how for our FIG through our startups. In this way, it is a win-win proposition that we are creating in this eco system.
